The Florida Bio-Fruit

Eating natural food ONLY and eliminating from the diet each and every manmade chemical concoctions is the fundamental principle of the New Nutritional Wave. After the disastrous diet aberrations in the 2nd half of the last century, it seems that we are about to rediscover the natural nutrition again.  The mainstream nutrition of the last century failed to recognize that the life-necessary components, the Bio-Building-Blocks of our diet must be delivered to our body in their primordial biological structure, physiologically as intended for an Optimal Metabolism.

Only in the Bio-Nutritional package can the dietary components be digested, incorporated in a step-by-step process, absorbed and utilized or metabolized without any impact or overload to different physiological functions of our body. A typical example in this respect can be the fructose metabolization when delivered biologically natural as a fruit component or artificially disassociated as an ingredient of processed food with major sugar impact characteristics.

Fruits are the ultimate bio-package of vitamins, fibre and minerals; the Bio-VMF complex, particularly important for the optimization of the metabolism. The rich V-M-F combination is encapsulated into the tropical fruit.  Due to the warm climate, longer sunshine and soft abundant rainfalls, the tropical fruits can ripen under excellent conditions, developing significant concentration of nutrients and assembling them in an ideal life-indulging package. For the better understanding of the mentioned Bio-V-M-F complex, a new expression must be introduced at this moment and that is the BIO-FRUIT itself.

Enjoying the exquisite taste and aroma of such tropical fruits, the sophisticated and health oriented consumer of the 21st century will have to consider however, the purity of the tropical fruit as well and the very real possibility that such delightful and nutritionally desirable natural product may contain manmade chemicals and contaminants incompatible with a healthy nutrition by any rate. The proverbial and often used expression in all instances, that one must compare apples to apples and not to oranges, gains in this instance true health and life importance.

Not All Tropical Fruits Are Equal

Not all tropical fruits are equal ... depending on the region of production, the rules and regulations – if any – controlling the production in their native countries as well as handling and preservation of such tropical fruits on the way to the consumer in far away areas of the globe, the concentration of undesirable toxins could accumulate dangerously and compromise totally the bio-V-M-F complex to a degree of complete undesirability.

Certain regulations, even in the industrialized societies, the main consumers of such tropical fruit exports, do allow unfortunately a relatively large collection of such toxic preservatives, pesticides, insecticides, fungicides and fertilizers to be present in the fruit up to a certain limit which no one knows for certain how it has been set. It is safe and reasonable to say once established, that for example, if formaldehyde is toxic to human health, no such chemical should reach the end consumer in any, even minute, concentration.  If a man-made chemical is considered toxic – and which one is not? – then said chemical remains toxic in large as well as small concentrations at all.

Nutritionally Wise Consumers

A discriminating consumer, concerned with his health, and determined to rediscover the natural diet, and in striving to do so directs his nutrition toward the tropical fruits, must consider and maintain equally important not only the theoretical nutritional benefits of his diet components but also to an equal extent the degree of purity as well as the region of origin of such nutritional element.  To be aware of anything contained in his food, knowing the allowances of contaminants legally expressed, or simply ignored by the regulatory bodies, and the origination or provenience of his dietary elements makes the health oriented consumer an informed and educated one, in charge of his health and wellbeing.

The modern nutrition enthusiast has recognized to his credit that man-made vitamins and mineral pills cannot replace the natural alternative.  Their complexity, metabolic values and intricate digestive sequences can simply not be emulated by any artificial pills.  Once this fact has been established, it follows logically that the quality of tropical fruits must supersede the cost considerations.

It is logical to deduct that production of organic and therefore least contaminated fruits will cost a bit more than otherwise.  It is also understandable that a regulated and carefully orchestrated harvesting, handling and transportation will be more costly than some less elaborate procedures.

It is without any doubt that the discerning health oriented consumer will be less concerned with a reasonable cost difference when related to a major component of his nutrition, versus the very real potential of introducing into his diet toxins and chemicals proven to be undesirable or quite toxic indeed, some of which being banned by the industrial societies decades ago.

Produce Handling and Transportation

In the matter of produce handling and transportation, recent food industry scandals and shocking news, followed by mass produce recalls of all kinds have generated wave after wave of sensations, particularly among the vegetarian communities, the main consumers of natural, raw and partially raw diet.

Conclusion

In conclusion you must know what you want and need to eat – why – and where it is coming from, to stay healthy and fit for as long as possible. A quality and safe fruit may cost a bit more but, then again, can someone set a real price on his own health?

It is not without pride and satisfaction for us to remark that in the matter of quality and safety, our Florida fruits should be considered to be on the top of any recommendations worldwide.  This is why we are dedicating a substantial effort to promote the knowledge demonstrate to the end consumer the substantial differences between our Florida grown tropical fruits and those belonging to exports from other tropical regions of the planet.

... nutritionally rich and uncontaminated tropical fruits come from Florida.
